Allan has worked in credit investments, portfolio management and private market fundraising for almost 30 years. His background includes roles as head of Credit Portfolio Management at both Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto and Société Générale in New York and Paris. In 2008 he relocated to London initially as a portfolio manager with Channel Capital and in 2013 with Juno Finance. Allan’s primary investor base is Canadian institutional investors – pension funds, endowments and some family offices located across Canada. At Juno he concentrated primarily on fundraising for Private Credit, Private Equity and various Public Equity strategies. During his time at RBC and Société Générale, Allan was involved in the establishment of the International Association of Credit Portfolio Management (“IACPM”) and served as IACPM Chairman in 2008. Allan holds an MA (Economics) from University of Western Ontario, a BA (Economics) from University of Manitoba, and the CFA designation.
