Andrew has over 30 years' experience advising companies and funds, initially as a lawyer with Linklaters & Paines, then as an investment banker at Cazenove & Co, Cazenove Inc. (New York), and thereafter at Credit Suisse First Boston. His experience has covered a wide range of capital raisings and corporate transactions, including IPOs, public and private placements, debt offerings and M&A, both in Europe and in the US. Since 1998 he has focussed primarily on working with fund managers, first at CSFB where he focused on listed investment vehicles before migrating to the private equity sector in 2000 via Campbell Lutyens & Co. Ltd. Immediately prior to the founding of LANCEA, Andrew managed his own private equity advisory and placement business undertaking both primary fundraisings and secondary fund transactions for established and emerging European, US and Asian private equity fund managers. A qualified solicitor, Andrew has an MA from Cambridge University and is a Sloan Fellow from the London Business School.
